CNC Setter Operator Nottinghamshire TEMP - PERM Various Shifts available From £15- £17ph + Shift Allowance Ristara Engineering is working in partnership with a worldwide leading supplier to the aerospace both civil and military and power generation industry company located in one of their sites based in Nottinghamshire. The manufacture of complex components for engines and airframes ranging from turbine blades to wing ribs, these are critical applications so there is no room for error with a huge emphasis on quality for materials and processes. This fast paced and dynamic environment is ideally suited for candidates who wish to thrive, learn and excel. We are looking for skilled CNC Setter Operator to join our team within the machining department to join the growing team and be part of the new exciting projects. What skills are required for the CNC Setter Operator role? Responsibilities: - Set up and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling, etc. - Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine machining operations - Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency - Inspect finished products for accuracy and adherence to specifications - Make adjustments to machine settings as needed - Maintain a clean and safe work environment Qualifications: - Previous experience as a CNC Operator or similar role - Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude - Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings - Proficiency in using hand tools and measuring instruments - Basic math skills for measurements and calculations - Familiarity with materials handling and safety procedures - Knowledge of CAD/CAM software is a plus - Experience with logic controllers is a plus - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision What benefits we offer for the CNC Setter Opetator role? * Permanent position * £15 - £17 Per Hour + Shift Allowance dependant on shift * Shifts available: Week day nights available.
