A globally recognised manufacturer of critical aerospace components is urgently seeking 2 CNC Millers and 3 CNC Turners to support a surge in demand on a 13-week contract. While this isn’t guaranteed to become a permanent role, it offers something just as valuable—hands-on experience in the aerospace sector and a genuine chance to get your foot in the door of a highly sought-after industry. The Role As a CNC Setter Operator, you’ll take ownership of the full machining cycle—ensuring every component meets stringent aerospace standards. You’ll play a key role in maintaining quality, efficiency, and continuity across production. Key responsibilities include: * Loading and unloading tooling to carry out machining operations * Working to fine tolerances across a range of materials, following detailed work instructions * Performing visual and dimensional inspections * Using precision measuring equipment (shadowgraph, gauges, verniers) * Operating one or more CNC machines simultaneously * Ensuring all products meet customer and internal standards (including NADCAP and AS9100) * Carrying out autonomous maintenance to keep equipment operational * Documenting processes and clearly communicating any irregularities What We’re Looking For You’ll be a skilled, detail-focused engineer with experience in precision manufacturing and a drive to work in a high-standard environment.
