CNC Programmer Up to £48,000 Derby We invite applications for a CNC Programmer for Milling and Turning within our Manufacturing department. This role presents an excellent opportunity for individuals with proven expertise to contribute to a dynamic organization's growth and enhance their professional skills. 39 hours per week, day shift. Flexibility to commence between 7:00 and 8:00 and conclude between 16:00 and 17:00, Monday to Thursday. Fridays, operating hours are from 7:00 to 12:00. Role Accountabilities: Proficient in CNC Programming/CAD using Siemens NX Unigraphics Version 12 Development of 3 and 5 axis CNC programs, coupled with the setup of CNC Milling machines adhering to procedural standards. Conduct precise measurement and inspection of components. Manufacture Jigs and Fixtures to facilitate the development of first-time run/components. Active participation in continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on efficiency enhancements.Person Specification: Experience working in a manufacturing environment from the engineering sector (Aero, Auto, Engineering) Proficient in NX Unigraphics Version 12 or similar 3D CAD/CAM design Expertise in both Milling and Turning processes. Capability to convert drawings/models into development and production running parts.
