CNC Millers (CNC Machinists) - Permanent - Salary DOE + Premium OT Join an expanding UK manufacturing business machining precision components, often large parts in a range of materials. If you can set, operate and make basic program edits, training can be provided on specific controls. The role You'll be setting and operating CNC milling machines and machining centres, producing high-quality parts to drawing and tolerance. Key responsibilities Set up (set and operate) CNC mills / machining centres to produce precision components Make basic CNC program adjustments/edits as required Read and interpret engineering drawings to confirm machining requirements Select and fit cutting tools, fixtures and work-holding devices Monitor machining processes to maintain quality and productivity Carry out basic inspections (visual and dimensional) to verify tolerances Identify and troubleshoot issues to minimise downtime Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area What we're looking for Previous experience as a CNC Miller / CNC Machinist in a manufacturing environment Confident reading engineering drawings and working to tight tolerances Understanding of cutting tools, fixtures and work-holding Basic inspection capability (e.g., verniers, micrometers, gauges) Knowledge of GD&T is beneficial Good attention to detail, communication and teamwork What's on offer Premium-rate overtime available Benefits package including matched pension contributions Permanent contract with salary dependent on experience HRGO is a recruitment agency supporting UK Manufacturing.
