This opportunity offers a PAYE contract arrangement, with an initial 6-month term and potential extensions spanning 12-18 months. Hours: The core day shift operates from 7:30 am to 4:15 pm (Monday to Thursday) and from 7:30 am to 11:30 am on Fridays. Pay: During the first 3 months, MT6 Rates are as follows: * Basic: £16.28 PAYE (equivalent to £21.21 UMB) * Overtime (x1.5, Mon-Sat): £24.41 PAYE (equivalent to £31.82 UMB) * Sunday (x2): £32.55 (equivalent to £42.43 UMB) Following this initial period, rates are adjusted: * Basic: £16.77 PAYE (equivalent to £21.86 UMB) * Overtime (x1.5, Mon-Sat): £25.15 PAYE (equivalent to £32.78 UMB) * Sunday (x2): £33.54 (equivalent to £43.71 UMB) Required Experience: * Completion of an apprenticeship or equivalent training and/or experience * Demonstrated proficiency in CNC operations * Prior experience in the aerospace sector or similar industry * Ability to interpret engineering drawings and understand SPC data collection for result recording * Familiarity with measuring equipment such as Vernier, micrometer plug gauges, and screw plug gauges CNC Miller - Responsibilities include setting and operating CNC Milling machines within their machining cells, which may include Mori Seiki, Fanuc Robodrill, and Matsuura equipment. CNC Turner - Responsibilities involve setting and operating CNC Lathes / Mill Turns within their machining cells, which may include Mori Seiki, Conquest HT42, and Alpha machinery.
