Position Description: The role of Creative Clay Modeller offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and delivery of our Clients' clay models while fostering creativity within the Design Studio. The ideal candidate will prioritize Health and Safety protocols, proactively ensuring a safe working environment. They will demonstrate a proactive approach in aligning resources with customer requests and embody the principles outlined in the Creators Code, encouraging team engagement with our Client’s core values. Responsibilities: Develop and deliver clay models in accordance with client requirements. Prioritize resources effectively to meet customer demands. Uphold Health and Safety standards within the Design Studio. Encourage adherence to the Creators Code among team members. Maintain and strive for the highest quality within your work. Ability to motivate the team. Apply a logical modelling approach, to achieve the delivery of design clay properties, to the recognised Client standards within given timelines i.e. programme gateways. Report timing and process issues to your manager. Understand and embrace new technologies to improve the Clay Modelling process. A strong understanding and the ability to use 3 axis milling machines and its supporting programming software. Comply with all company policy and procedures, particularly the Design Studio security. Skills Required: Minimum 5 years’ experience in OEM automotive studio. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Interior and exterior clay modelling experience required. Experience Required: To be creative in the development and delivery of our clay models for customers of clay properties. Be proactive and supportive of Health and Safety in the Design Studio. Ability to prioritise resource in alignment with customer requests. Maintain and strive for the highest quality within your work. Apply a logical modelling approach, to achieve the delivery of design clay properties, to the recognised standards within given timelines i.e. programme gateways. Understand and embrace new technologies to improve our Clay Modelling process. A strong understanding and the ability to use 3 axis milling machines and its supporting programming software. Comply with all company policy and procedures, particularly the Design Studio security. Experience Preferred: Have a minimum of five years clay modelling experience within a design studio. A good background and experience of working in an OEM Design Studio. Hard Modelling skills and Wood Machine Shop trained are essential. A strong understanding and the ability to use 3 axis milling machines and its supporting software
