About the Role: As a Classic Build Technician, you will be responsible for the hands-on mechanical assembly and coachbuilding of classic models and heritage cars. This isn’t your average technician role – you’ll be working on builds that follow specialised documentation, requiring a true craftsperson’s touch and deep understanding of how to adjust, modify, and shape components when things don’t fit quite right – without compromising the vehicle's integrity. Key Responsibilities: Full vehicle build using traditional coachbuilding techniques Interpret complex build documentation unique to heritage models Use hand tools, air tools, and grinders confidently and safely Adjust and modify parts using initiative and expert judgment Ensure high-quality, safety-critical standards are met throughout Collaborate with engineers and other technicians on low-volume builds Contribute to continuous quality checks and improvements during assembly Who we’re looking for: 2+ years’ experience in classic, vintage, or heritage vehicle builds Strong background in traditional coachbuilding and restoration work Mechanical assembly experience with a focus on fit and finish Comfortable working from technical documentation and diagrams Able to identify and shape parts with care and precision Experience in automotive, motorsport, or specialist coachbuilding Welding experience is advantageous but not essential Enthusiastic, team-oriented, and takes pride in craftsmanship Why Join?
