Job role: Class 1 HGV Driver - No Loading or Unloading  Location: Northampton  Salary - £34,000 + Overtime Hours: 8am - 5pm  Monday - Friday  We are looking for a permanent HGV Driver with a Class 1 licence to join our client’s driving team.  As a class 1 HGV Driver at my clients premises, you will be required to take trucks and trailers for their MOT inspection / Test, road test the vehicles before returning to the depot. You will also be required to undertake a check over of the vehicle when it has been returned to the depot to ensure all lights are working correctly etc. There is no trunking or tramping involved in this work, you wont have to deal with RDC's making you wait for hours because you have been delayed by ten minutes etc In order to qualify for this role, the HGV Driver will have the following; Full Class 1 HGV Driving Licence with no more than six penalty points (Insurance Purposes) Hold a full drivers CPC and Digi Tacho card Have a wide range of heavy vehicle driving experience To apply for this HGV Driver role, please reply to this advert with an up to date copy of your CV or call Anton at Kemp Recruitment on (phone number removed) for more information
