Swift Placements are working with an automotive client based in Harrogate who are one of the UK’s leading suppliers of luxury and high-performance vehicles and an independent specialist operating for over 20 years in the Prestige retail market. Our prestige client is on the lookout for a motivated and money driven Car Sales Executive to join their small friendly team on a full-time permanent basis. The Car Sales Executive must have experience in the automotive industry, you will be responsible for driving revenue by selling vehicles to customers. Your role involves understanding customer needs, providing product knowledge, and guiding clients through the sales process. Successful candidates will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a deep understanding of automotive products, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities of the Car Sales Executive: Customer Engagement: · Greet and engage with customers in a professional and friendly manner. · Actively listen to customer requirements and preferences to understand their needs. Product Knowledge: · Stay informed about the features, specifications, and benefits of the vehicles in the showroom. · Provide accurate and detailed information to customers, addressing any questions or concerns. Sales Process: · Guide customers through the entire sales process, from initial contact to test drives and vehicle selection. · Effectively communicate pricing, financing options, and promotional offers. Building Relationships: · Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers to foster repeat business and referrals. · Follow up with customers after the sale to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns. Negotiation: · Negotiate prices, terms, and financing options to meet both customer and dealership objectives. · Collaborate with sales managers to secure approval on deals and finalize transactions. Sales Targets: · Work towards achieving individual and team sales targets. · Implement strategies to maximize sales opportunities and drive revenue growth. Paperwork and Documentation: · Assist customers in completing necessary paperwork for vehicle purchases. · Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all sales transactions. Product Presentation: · Keep the showroom and vehicles in pristine condition for optimal presentation. · Utilise merchandising techniques to enhance the visual appeal of the showroom. Market Awareness: · Stay informed about market trends, competitor offerings, and changes in automotive technology. · Provide feedback to management on customer preferences and market dynamics. Qualifications and Skills: · Proven experience in automotive sales or a related field. · Strong interpersonal and communication skills. · Knowledge of automotive products and features. · Results-driven with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. · Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. · Excellent negotiation and closing skills. · Basic understanding of financing options and processes. · Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering a high level of service. What’s on offer? A basic salary of £25,000- £30,000 plus uncapped commission with OTE of £70,000 per annum. Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8:30am- 5:30pm with the occasional weekend cover when required.
