CAM Programmer Gloucester - permanent - On Site full Time - M-F 37 Hour week - Up to £45k DOE Are you a CAM Programmer looking to join a growing Production company on a permanent basis? Manufacturing complex components for the Rail, Motorsport, Marine & Aerospace sectors in a fast-paced environment. Using OneCNC CAM for the programming of components in composite materials, generate NC programmes in-line with internal manufacturing best-practices and procedures on both CNC Routers & Vertical Machining Centres. The Role: Offline programming using OneCNC. Create and validate 3, 4 and 5 axis programmes and supporting documentation. Proving out 1st off programmes before handing over to production. Aid machine operators and provide recommendations to allow optimization of processes and machine tool capabilities. Ability to work from solid models, 2D drawings. Make recommendations for improvements to work processes. Contribute to continuous improvement activities. Contribute to positive teamwork environment. The Person: Experience of OneCNC is preferred but not essential. Experience programming complex 5 axis parts (3+2) - minimum 3 years programming. Ability to work independently and as a part of a team. Ability to manage own time & workload. Strong Verbal and written communication skills. Excellent knowledge of cutting tools & work-holding. Some CNC turning knowledge advantageous but not essential.
