Job Title: CAE Engineer - Automotive Hypercar Project Job Type: Contract (Outside IR35) Location: Leamington Spa, UK Duration: 6-month contract with potential extension to 18 months Rate: £37 PER HOUR Working Hours: Full-time, onsite, 5 days a week Start Date: ASAP Job Description: We are seeking an experienced CAE Engineer to join our dynamic team working on a prestigious automotive hypercar project. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual with a strong background in body/chassis non-mechanical CAE analysis. You will be contributing to a cutting-edge project that is already 12 months into development, with a current extension of 6 months and a likely further extension of up to 18 months. Key Responsibilities: Perform CAE analysis for the body and chassis components using Ansa and Abaqus software. Collaborate closely with the design and engineering teams to optimize component performance and ensure compliance with project specifications. Provide detailed reports and presentations of CAE analysis results. Troubleshoot and resolve any CAE-related issues that arise during the project lifecycle. Maintain accurate documentation of all analysis and simulations performed. Required Skills and Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in CAE analysis using Ansa and Abaqus. Strong understanding of body and chassis engineering principles, particularly in the context of non-mechanical components. Proven track record of working on automotive projects, ideally within the hypercar or high-performance vehicle sector. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly. Ability to work onsite in Leamington Spa, 5 days a week. Additional Information: The contract is outside IR35, providing flexibility and advantageous tax arrangements. Our target turnaround for onboarding is 7 days, although current experiences suggest this is achievable within 10 days. Candidates must be prepared for occasional holiday cover requirements to ensure continuous payment processing.
