A well-established subcontract aerospace machining business based in Bristol is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to support its continued growth. Specialising in precision components for the aerospace sector, the company is renowned for its high-quality output, customer focus, and strong industry partnerships. This is a key opportunity for an individual with a proven track record in the aerospace supply chain to play a pivotal role in expanding the company’s customer base and strengthening its presence within the sector. 🔧 The Opportunity The successful candidate will join a team of process and machining specialists and will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities across the aerospace supply chain. This is a strategic, client-facing role with a focus on long-term relationship building and commercial success. Importantly, a background in machining is not required, as technical support is fully provided by in-house experts. 💼 Key Responsibilities * Identify and engage new business opportunities within the aerospace industry * Develop and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, Tier 1, and Tier 2 suppliers * Lead commercial discussions and support the tender and proposal process * Work closely with internal stakeholders to align business development efforts with operational capabilities * Provide market intelligence and strategic input to senior leadership ✅ Candidate Requirements * Demonstrable experience in business development within the aerospace supply chain * A solid understanding of industry dynamics, procurement processes, and customer expectations * Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills * Self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to work independently * Willingness to travel for customer meetings and industry events as required 💬 What’s Not Required * Machining experience – full technical support is provided by process specialists within the business Everlinked is an equal opportunities employment agency
