Cogent Staffing are working with a leading automotive parts distribution company based in Leeds LS9, who are looking for a Business Development Manager to join them on a permanent basis. Package Full time 45-hour contract, 8.5 hour days. Monday to Friday. Between the hours of 7.30am and 6.00pm Additional 5 hours on alternate Saturday in accordance with the rota. Salary £32,000 plus bonus scheme Main Purpose of Job: * To work alongside the Branch Team on delivering on Budgeted Phone Calls & Volumes. * To understand & promote The Business Vision, Mission & Values. * To always strive to Improve our Overall Customer Relationships. * To support our customers growth & develop long term relationships for the Business. * Whilst visiting customers, being able to spot opportunities and ensure we deliver on them. * To be highly organised and produce High Quality customer visits reliably. * Interpret Customer needs & communicate them to ensure we are meeting them. * Utilise Business data streams to maximise Acquisition and Penetration opportunities. * To represent the Business with a Professional & Customer 1st approach day in day out Key Accountabilities: * Achieving Branch Targets for Acquisition and Penetration * Achieving Brand Share Targets * Ensuring CRM & all customer information is always up to date * Covering sales for holidays, sickness, and where necessary supporting cover for other areas in the business Knowledge, Skills & Experience * 2 Years Motor Factor Sales Experience or experience in a similar role. * A valid driving license. * Computer literate and ideally possess basic IT Skills. * Passion to deliver top class customer service while driving sales. * Numeracy and literacy. * A smart personal appearance and professional manner * The ability to communicate and provide knowledge to meet the needs of our customers. * Knowledge of the local area and customer base would be a distinct advantage. * A drive to seek new business * Excellent telephone skills * Strong verbal and written communication * Good IT skills * Initiative and good decision-making skills * Account Management * Sales project management skills * Strong organisational & time keeping skills * Ability to write reports Cogent Staffing is an equal opportunities recruiter, and we welcome applications from all suitably skilled or qualified applicants, regardless of their race, sex, disability, religion/beliefs, sexual orientation, or age
