BOM Engineer Doncaster Monday – Thursday Do you hold knowledge and experience of Technical functions and internal controls? Benefits Package: • No work Fridays • Early finish Thursdays • Overtime available • £27,000 - £30,000 annual salary As a BOM Engineer, you will be required to: • Develop and maintain BOM’s for products at various stages of development. • Carry out drawing and BOM amends in line with QMS • Ensure BOM’s are accurate, standardised and structured according to company guidelines. • Ensure a culture of prevention of defects is in place. • Ensure issue of correct drawings to other departments/suppliers. • Carry out R&D (Research and Development) to meet customer requirements. • Investigate any drawing/BOM discrepancies before implementing any changes. • Continued experience on the ‘Shop Floor’ as this is paramount to development. • Maintain specified work records in both Emax & Solidworks PDM. • Assist in identifying obsolete, redundant, or long lead-time components and suggest alternatives • Recognise and communicate improvements through continuous monitoring • Organise and control amendments to specifications. • Problem solve in your area. • Must co-operate with management in all areas. • Setting an example to others in all areas. • Work in accordance with approved codes of practice • Work in accordance with company health & safety rules and regulations. • Working as part of a team • Transfer skills to other team members • Maintain good house keeping • Uphold health and safety protocols Candidate: • Knowledge and experience of Technical functions and internal controls. • Have good organisational skills • Have good interpersonal skills, be a team player with a flexible approach and a willingness to learn • Have a good understanding of the conversion process • Have a good level of IT, computer skills and relevant software packages • Have good attention to detail • Have the ability to handle pressure and meet targets / deadlines • 2+ years of BOM experience. • Proficiency in ERP systems. • Knowledge of industry standards Call us today on (phone number removed), to discuss this BOM Engineer position in Doncaster
