Job Introduction As a Bodyshop Technician you will be confident in conducting all aspects of vehicle maintenance and repairs. You will also enjoy working on a variety of cars, have a professional attitude, and will ensure that the highest quality of service is maintained. Objectives of the role: Accurately and skilfully undertake the removal and replacement of Mechanical, Electrical and Trim items on motor vehicles Fulfil all tasks to the customer’s complete satisfaction Detect and diagnose any additional faults for further repair Ensure all work is completed safely and complies with retailer, manufacturer and industry guidelines Main Responsibilities Accurately and skilfully undertake the removal and replacement of Mechanical, Electrical and Trim items on motor vehicles Carry out all repairs according to best practice procedures. Meeting acceptable safety and quality standards Interpret and implement technical instruction data Complete assigned jobs within the estimated repair times Detect and diagnose any additional faults for further repair Check the condition and ensure the correct maintenance of tools, equipment and other materials in accordance with company policy The Ideal Candidate * The capability of working to deadlines whilst maintaining the highest quality standards * Great team player and communication skills * Maintain high standards of housekeeping * A full UK driving license * ATA/NVQ Level 3/City Guilds qualification required About Inchcape Inchcape is a leading independent global automotive distributor and retailer.
