The B1.3 Licensed Engineer is responsible for the certification of line, non-routine maintenance, and repair on specific rotorcraft models. Type training will be provided for a suitable candidate. The main responsibilities of the post holder will include: Carrying out maintenance inspections and repairs as directed by the nominated LAE Supervisor. Leading a team and maintaining high standards to ensure the continued safe operation of the aircraft. Completing maintenance tasks, including airframe structure, power plant, mechanical, and electrical systems. Replacing avionic line-replaceable units and conducting simple tests to ensure their serviceability. Supervising mechanical fitters and certifying their work. Performing off-aircraft mechanical, power plant, component, and composite technical work in workshops as required. Assisting in the day-to-day running of the aircraft hangar, including aircraft movement and general housekeeping responsibilities.The ideal candidate will possess the following knowledge and skills: ESSENTIAL Thorough knowledge of engine and airframe systems. Familiarity with specialized test equipment related to engine and airframe systems. Up-to-date knowledge of: CAA regulations, particularly Pt 145, Part M, and UK ANOs Continued Airworthiness Management (CAM)
