Key Responsibilities: Use applicable current maintenance data, work order instructions, and information systems Document the performance of all maintenance actions and compile and control completed work cards Follow procedures detailed in the MOE and supporting manuals Identify and rectify existing and potential unsafe conditions Adhere to safety and deactivation/reactivation requirements Follow procedures detailed in customers' approved documentation Use calibrated tooling and equipment recommended by the manufacturer Maintain the work environment in a clean and safe manner Comply with internal and mandatory reporting requirements Apply good communication and assertiveness skills Comply with work interruption and handover procedures Comply with safety policy requirements Sign off maintenance tasks performed or supervised within the scope of authorisation Sign certificates of release to service within the scope of certifying staff authorisation Perform functions and responsibilities associated with support staff role within the scope of authorisation Maintain experience records in support of continued competence Essential Job Function: The licenced engineer's responsibilities include ensuring all relevant tasks or inspections are completed to a required standard before the certificate of release to service is issued by the category C certifying staff. This includes: Confirming each item/task of work has been documented and actioned Inspecting aircraft for absence of dirt, extraneous matter, tools, etc., prior to closing any area or panel Planning performance of critical tasks Determining required qualifications for task performance Considering human performance and limitations during maintenance Documenting and rectifying discrepancies detected during inspections or non-routine maintenance Supervising maintenance activities to ensure completion to the standards outlined in the MOE Maintaining aircraft, components, and equipment when required Completing any other reasonable tasks requested by the Production Management team Typical Working Conditions & Physical Demands: Use of ladders, work stands, and lifts, with access to all aircraft areas during duties Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces Physical exertion such as pulling, pushing, reaching, bending, standing, walking, and light lifting Maintaining required medical standards Work performed at the Hangar in Shannon and potentially offsite for AOG support Mandatory use of provided PPE Possible night, weekend, holiday, and overtime work Satisfying and maintaining airport security requirements Candidate Requirements: Holding or having held an EASA PART 66 B1 Aircraft Maintenance License with company base maintenance approvals Type ratings on one or more of the following: 737 (CL or NG), 757, and/or 767 Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail Strong work ethic, reliability, self-motivation, positive attitude, and customer service orientation Required night, weekend, holiday, and overtime work Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English If you are an experienced and highly motivated B1 Licensed Engineer and meet the qualifications above, we encourage you to apply now.
