Due to continued investment, this global business is currently looking for a B1.3 Licensed Engineer to join their existing team in Glasgow on a 6 month contract. The Role As a Licensed Engineer, you will be responsible for the delivery of serviceable aircraft and engineering facilities, capable of fulfilling the operational requirement of the customer. Your responsibilities will include but not limited to the following: Reporting to the LMC Scotland, working with other members of the Maintenance team, ensuring that all health and safety requirements and company equal opportunity/harassment policies are complied with. Control and Rectification of any Carry Forward defects or Deferred Defects in accordance with the MEL, with guidance from the LMC of Duty Manager. To ensure that planning sufficient serviceable equipment, airworthiness data, tools and materials are available to complete maintenance tasks Complete Line maintenance tasks as planned and general ground handling of rotary aircraft. In addition, you will also perform husbandry and general cleanliness of the Hangar. You To succeed within the role of a License Engineer, you'll have experience in a similar position and have the following skills: Must hold a valid CAA part 66 B1.3 AML (preferred with EC- 135 and or H-145 type ratings). Ability to repair/maintain aircraft airframe and engine systems as defined in the MOE. Raising tasks and issuing all approved materials for the work via the Maintenance Interface System. A good working knowledge of the regulations, requirements and standards associated with aircraft maintenance The control and appropriate use of tooling, ground support equipment to complete tasks. In addition, you should also have good understanding of SMS and flight safety and hold a valid UK driving license. Please note that due to security nature of this role, offers of employment will be dependent on obtaining SC security clearance. The vetting process is delivered by United Kingdom Security Vetting (UKSV) and will require candidates to provide proof of residency in the UK of 5 years or longer.
