Key Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a team of Technicians and Mechanics during Base Maintenance checks. Ensure compliance with Part 145 regulations, internal processes, and customer SLAs. Oversee accurate and timely completion of maintenance documentation. Monitor and manage the storage, labelling, and serviceability of aircraft components. Drive adherence to health and safety procedures and high engineering standards. Liaise with the Bay Manager and Production Planners to ensure smooth operation and resolve issues promptly. Recommend improvements to maintenance practices and procedures to enhance efficiency and morale. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, preventing FOD and ensuring general hangar upkeep. Essential Skills and Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years' aircraft maintenance experience, including at least 3 years in Base Maintenance. Proven ability to interpret and utilise aircraft documentation. Strong expertise in aircraft systems, rigging, component replacement, and structural repairs. Holder of a B1/B2 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Licence. Current Type Rating and Recency on Boeing 737NG. Additional Attributes: Demonstrates excellent organisational and leadership skills.
