We are currently recruiting for an Automotive Engineer to join a specialist project. This project is a hybrid working role, with a luxurious Automotive manufacturer in Warwick. The project has been deemed as inside IR35, with an Umbrella payrate of £32.00per hour. Key responsibilities and duties: * To ensure robust delivery using Technical Delivery Plans, Commodity Plans, and obstacle escalation. * Maintain overall integrity and coherence of the programme Engineering content, aligned with strategic technical direction. * Managing communications with suppliers to obtain delivery commitments. * Report progress of the Engineering workstreams at defined intervals, ensuring that foundation documents, and technical output data is appropriately maintained. * Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested. The ideal candidate: * Thorough understanding of Engineering processes. * Previous experience, within a similar role, within an Automotive, Aerospace or manufacturing industry. * Experience with releases and change management. * Ability to confidently negotiate with suppliers. * Understanding of MRP Systems. * Previous experience of techniques for controlling the delivery of engineering content.
