As an Automotive Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development and optimisation of automotive components and systems. You will work closely with a team of engineers to design, analyse, and improve vehicle parts, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and performance. Key Responsibilities: - Design of Diesel Fuel Injection High Pressure Pumps. - Conduct Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) to identify and mitigate potential design risks. - Apply knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) to ensure precise manufacturing and assembly. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet all regulatory and safety standards. - Analyse data and provide engineering insights to enhance design quality and efficiency. - Conduct feasibility studies and contribute to prototyping and testing processes. - Continually research and integrate new technologies and methodologies into design processes.
