M People Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity available for an Auto Electrician to join a well-established and growing company based in Oldham. * Position: Auto Electrician * Location: Oldham * Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 DOE * Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:00am - 4:30pm, Friday 8:00am - 3:30pm Responsibilities will include: * Carrying out electrical wiring on new-build commercial vehicles. * Installing electrical systems on tipper bodies, skip loaders and hook loaders. * Installing vehicle safety equipment, including reversing cameras and vehicle CCTV systems. * Fitting work lights, beacons, LED lighting and other electrical accessories. * Diagnosing and fault-finding electrical issues on commercial vehicles, tipper bodies and lifting equipment. * Reading and interpreting wiring diagrams and technical drawings. * Testing and inspecting electrical installations to ensure they are safe and fully operational. * Repairing and maintaining existing vehicle electrical systems. * Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with health and safety procedures. * Supporting the wider workshop team as required. We’re looking for someone who: * Has previous experience as an Auto Electrician or in a similar role. * Has strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills. * Is proactive, self-motivated and able to use their own initiative. * Works well independently and as part of a team. * Is flexible and willing to support the team during busy periods. * Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Takes pride in producing high-quality work with excellent attention to detail. * Is reliable, organised and committed to maintaining high standards.
