Core skills/attributes needed: • Ability to work on assembly of new parts with solid rivets using hand & air riveting tools & other equipment for the purpose required. • Visual inspection of completed products • Full knowledge and experience of using Vernier’s and other specialist measuring tools • Experience of working to adjust sheet metal parts for assembly • Current experience of the use of air tools i.e. drills / rivet press / rivet guns • Experience of using sealants • Engineering background ideally in aerospace industry • Experience of reading, interpreting engineering drawings and specifications • Experience of working with a number of different materials and finishes • Attention to detail • Problem solving skills • Utilising a range of hand tools • Finish precision engineering products
