As an Assembly Mechanical Fitter, you'll be responsible for assembling and testing Airbus Single Aisle family nose and forestay, main gears, and side stays, all while maintaining a high standard of quality for each component, along with FOD compliance. You'll work on a regularly rotating shift pattern, covering dayshifts and nightshifts (which include a premium shift payment of 38.5% of your salary). Occasionally, there'll be options for working bridging shifts and weekend shifts too. What do I need? You'll already have Fitting experience from a previous role, ideally in an Aerospace or Automotive environment. We're looking for someone with: A completed NVQ level 3 Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship, or equivalent The ability to follow technical drawings, specs, procedures, and test instructions A desire to learn and understand the basic principles of production flow lines, and takt times Knowledge of COSH and flow line methodologies is ideal, but not essential for you to applyAnything else I need to know?
