About the role Sytner Jaguar Land Rover Stockport currently has a great opportunity available for an Alloy Wheel Technician to join our talented team. As a Sytner Alloy Wheel Repair Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out repairs on vehicle Alloy wheels. You must have the ability to competently carry out repairs to a high level of quality in set timescales. We are looking for a passionate Diamond and Alloy Wheel Technician to accurately undertake the preparation and repainting of standard Alloy & Diamond Cut Wheels. Key responsibilities Your key responsibilities as a Diamond and Alloy Wheel Technician will be: Remove replace and fitting tyres. Checking tyre tread depths, conditions of tyres and adjusting tyre pressures. Wheel balancing To accurately undertake the preparation and repainting of standard Alloy & Diamond Cut Wheels. Using & Maintaining our Vixen Lathe machinery in line with manufactures guidelines Detect and diagnose any additional faults for further repair i.e. Distorted wheels not fit for repair Carry out all repairs according to best practice procedures Use all paint mixing schemes and drying areas/equipment accurately for all paint repairs including powder coating processes About You Proven experience as an Alloy Wheel Repair Technician is essential. Experience in a similar Body shop environment is beneficial as we are looking for an individual who has the ability to operate efficiently in a fast paced environment. We are looking for someone who is passionate to deliver highest possible standard of repair with a strong attention to detail. Strong time management and organisational skills are also required as you will ensure that assigned jobs are completed within estimated times. Why Sytner?
