Position Description:

This role is to monitor/ nurture and approve components to a visual acceptable customer appearance. The role will engage with working within all areas of the business and a wide range of suppliers within the automotive sector. This will engage in organising sessions across the business and supply base to work to an acceptable position for components that interact with the customer for colour harmony and appearance.

Position Description:

Plant based Project Engineer responsible for the resolution of Body Engineering customer concerns as prioritised through the Quality Operating Systems. Delivery is achieved by identifying and implementing containment, root cause and permanent corrective action in conjunction with plant based manufacturing based co-leaders. The position will also include launch responsibilities within body engineering for in-cycle model programmes.

Working in Catia V5/6 to construct and refine Catia models in full surface definition to support analysis activities and package requirements while meeting project targets for weight, costs etc.

Ability to use appropriate quality tools and techniques.

PC skills-Microsoft Applications and minimum 1 year experience of CATIA V5.

There will be a need to progress issues through the use of AIMS and WERS.

Experience Required:

Experience of automotive sheet metal pressing design.
