Workshop Manager £45,000 p/a (possible relocation package available) The Tank Museum requires a Workshop Manager to lead and supervise a team in the maintenance, and conservation of our historic vehicles. Our state-of-the-art engineering facilities at the Museum offer a unique and exciting opportunity to work in a heritage engineering environment. You will need to have experience in the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of traditional vehicle technology. You will be an effective team player, with good people skills that welcomes responsibility and works well under pressure. You will also be self-motivated, eager to use and share your skills and experience with a team of staff, apprentices and volunteers and will have proven experience of managing a workshop facility. This role will be operating within a high-profile department and liaising right across the Museum, as well as with external organisations and suppliers. An engineering degree or relevant engineering qualification is required together with the relevant Health & Safety qualifications to operate a workshop facility.
