Workshop Controller (HGV) £40,000- £45,000 + Birthday day off + Family Planning + Generous Pension Barnstaple Are you a Workshop Controller Looking to progress into a managerial position, with an automotive qualification looking for a Mon-Fri, days-based role within a thriving servicer of HGVs and RCVs that offers an excellent work-life balance, a generous bonus package, and the opportunity to work autonomously? The company are responsible for the maintenance, service and repair of HGVs, RCVs LCVs on behalf of some major blue-chip clients. Within this evenly split Technical hands-on and Managerial position, you will oversee all workshop functions. You will oversee the management of hands-on vehicle repairs and servicing to ensure they are carried out cost-effectively, both internally and subcontracted. You will be fully responsible for overseeing the maintenance in line with manufacturers' recommendations, legislation, and contractual obligations. You will also be responsible for the management of multi-skilled technicians within the North Devon workshop and Somerset West and Taunton satellite workshop. This role will suit a Workshop Controller with a background in the Automotive / HGV industry looking for a role within a company known for the market-leading pay generous bonus structure, and employee career progression.
