MPI are looking for a long-term Warehouse Stores Operator, for our client who is based in Feltham Payrate £12.00 per hour Monday to Friday, 8:00-16:30, 1-hour lunch break 37.5 hours per week PRIME FUNCTION Inbound and outbound of customer repairs and completing replenishment/picking/packing of spare parts. Making sure all workshop repairs are booked-in/packed in accordance with set KPIs. Requirements Good general standard of education with a minimum of GCSE (or equivalent) Grade C or equivalent in English and Maths Previous Warehouse/Logistics in a workshop/service environment experience Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access) Good communication skills Ability to enter data accurately Fork truck/MHE experience beneficial. Positive attitude/outlook Flexible approach Excellent verbal and written communication skills POSITION IN ORGANISATION: Reports to the warehouse Co-Ordinator To follow the company Health &Safety & Environmental Policies Deal with Goods in & out of Customer repairs Deal with customer at the back door, dropping off and collecting their tools Update the customer collection Shelf and spreadsheet, sending customer letters when required. Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement with all department staff. To receive, pick, replenish, and pack Makita products. Liaise with other FSC’s & warehouses to verify the deliveries received. To carry out the transfer of stock in a timely manner to/from applicable warehouses. SPECIFIC ACTIVITIES At all times be responsible for the safety of yourself, other staff and visitors, in and around your immediate work area. To be responsible for booking in returned items for workshop. To pack completed workshop repairs. To put away spare parts in the correct locations. To meet department KPI’s Follow department processes and procedures. to assist in performing any additional assignments and duties as required by the needs of the Business as directed by your line manager
