Job Title: Warehouse Manager Location: Shipley, BD17 7JR Salary: £45,000 - £48,000 plus company car Working Hours: Mon - Thurs, 07:30 - 16:00; Fri, 07:30 - 12:30 Our client, a leading name in the design and manufacture of high performance automotive components are looking for a resilient, change and challenge driven Warehouse Manager to lead their team during a period of major investment and growth. The successful candidate will be an experienced Warehouse Manager, a natural leader with the knowledge, drive and capability to create, change and implement modern warehousing practices. Benefits Company car option 25 days' holiday per year + bank holidays Private health care Stakeholder pension scheme including life assurance Permanent Health Insurance cover following a qualifying periodThe Role Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain with 2 direct reports and 35 associates across all functions Lead and manage the change process to support the investment into the future of our warehousing operation Develop and coach a team that is flexible, pro-active and capable of supporting both internal and external customers Investigate and implement a plan to automate the warehouse from parts and product storage to line side delivery Investigate and implement the latest software to improve efficiency Develop and improve of KPI to share with Senior Management Full accountability for the department ensuring safety and performance targets are achieved Maintain high standards adhering to Health and Safety procedures in the warehouse Implement processes and procedures to optimize efficiency Accountable for control and creation of departmental budgetsThe Person 3-5 years hands on warehouse management experience within an automotive/fast moving production environment Not afraid to question the status quo Able to work under pressure whilst leading a team from the front in a fast-changing environment Experienced in automated stock control procedures and warehouse transformation projects Excellent communication skills together with strong analytical skills Essential - able to liaise with stakeholders at all levels Working knowledge of Health & Safety in the work place A strong character that is able to meet day to day challenges Excellent organisational/verbal and motivational skills Implementation of warehouse efficiency software IT literacy in MS applications Previous experience of ERP/MRP/WMS systems Practitioner of Lean Manufacturing tools Strong Health, Safety and Environmental procedure awareness with an understanding of Risk Assessments and legislation HNC/Degree in a relevant discipline would be highly advantageous HOW TO APPLY To be considered for this role, please click on the link provided.
