Our clients a specialist automotive business, based near Petersfield, have an exciting opportunity for a Vehicle Technician with strong electrical skills to join their growing team. Role Summary * Working within a small team with a diverse skill set, undertaking general servicing, repairs, event and race preparation, and full restoration and rebuilds on classic cars. * Understand, report, and rectify vehicle issues/faults without the use of diagnostic plugins. Key Responsibilities * Undertaking general servicing, repairs, event/race preparation, full restoration and rebuild of classic cars. * Quality control, tidiness and attention to detail are an absolute necessity * Maintain a clean and safe working environment and complete all necessary control records (timesheets, inspection records etc.) * Ensure Health and Safety regulations are met, and safe working practices are adhered to Experience and Required Skills * High degree of accuracy combined with attention to detail and process adherence * Strong organisational and prioritisation skills * Ability to take initiative and ownership of issues, with a proactive can-do attitude * A strong electrical bias. * Sound mechanical diagnostic skills developed through manual experience * Minimum 2-3 years’ experience within the classic or vintage car field or experience with retro/race vehicles
