the Training Manager will be responsible for: Managing programmes to ensure excellent levels of training and client satisfaction are achieved, whilst maintaining full regulatory compliance. Acting as deputy to the Manager of Training Services, standing in during absences, and acting as overall in charge when required. Responsibility for training records, regulatory paperwork, and compliance, ensuring documentations are processed accurately and on time. Collaborating with Scheduling to ensure balanced and effective schedules are achieved, in line with client requirements. Ensuring processes are adhered to as required Being the main point of contact for instructors, ensuring that training devices are compliant and suitable for published curricula. Coordinate with Sales department as required. Overseeing Instructor's training qualifications and currency, ensuring maximum Instructor availability Assessing Instructors' competencies and performance in the Classroom and Simulator Proposing recommendations for staffing Ensuring Instructor Standardisation across each fleet Arranging Instructor training meetings as required Assisting with course preparation and course materials before the client's start date Assisting with the creation of training curricula and arranging courseware as required. Monitoring client progress and reporting on substandard performance. Flagging sub-standard performance, and arranging remedial action where required Qualifications and Experience required A minimum of 5 years' training experience, ideally as an SFI, SFE, TRI, or TRE An experienced professional Pilot or former Pilot ?Airbus, Boeing of Embraer experience preferred. Managerial experience, ideally gained in a training environment Knowledge of UK FCL and EASA Part FCL regulations. Proficient PC user, with MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Ability to prioritise, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to be flexible, working occasional bank holidays and weekends. Fluency in English
