Position Overview: We are looking for a Team Leader to lead a key short-term HR administration project within our People Services team. The project centres on large-scale production of employment contracts with a high degree of complexity and strict delivery timescales. The main project activity is expected to take place May-August 2022, but the Team Leader is required for a 6-month period in order to set up and wind down the project. Although this is a fixed term role, there are a wealth of permanent role opportunities for the right candidate. About the team: The People Services team deliver shared HR services to all c8,000 UKI employees. The team provide +300 HR services, including first line HR support, complex HR advice and guidance, HR transactional services and HR administration activities. The organisation is split into 3 tiers – Tier 0 being our online, self-service portal; Tier 1 handling queries, providing advice and guidance, and general HR administration; and Tier 2 providing more specialized services for the most complex cases. As this project involves delivering a specialised, complex project, it will report to the Tier 2 Service Delivery Manager. Responsibilities * Oversee and lead a small team of administrators to deliver the project to strict timelines * Assign tasks to the administrators and clearly communicate objectives in order to meet the required delivery schedule * Day to day management of the project team * Monitor progress of the project and take necessary corrective action where required * Regular reporting of project progress to the Service Delivery Manager * Identify opportunities to continually improve processes to increase team efficiency * Understand and be compliant with the corporate data protection and confidentiality policies * Carry out any other reasonable requests in line with your day-to-day duties. Qualifications and experience * Experience working as Team Leader or Lead/Senior Administrator role * Excellent administration skills with high attention to detail and accuracy, and experience delivering complex administrative activities * Logical, analytical thinker who can interpret data and solve problems quickly * Ability to multi-task and proactively prioritise work for self and others in order to meet competing demands * HR Shared Services or HR experience preferred * Experience of administering employment contracts a benefit but not essential * Highly-customer orientated with great customer service skills * Strong communication skills (written and oral) * Ability to work independently and effectively in a high-pace and deadline-driven organization. * Team player who can support, coach and encourage others * Strong IT skills and aptitude for using HRIT tools/systems * Administration or CIPD qualifications a benefit Work Location: Flexible dependent on successful candidate, preferably in commutable range of Shirley, Solihull
