Supply Chain Planner £30,000 - £35,000 Plus Benefits The Company My client is a specialist products manufacturer supplying into a variety of industries. They have both UK and international sites and pride themselves on exceptional levels of service which is delivered by working closely with their customers to understand the specific needs of their business. Due to continued growth and development they are expanding the team and have an opportunity for an experienced Supply Chain Planner to deliver effective production planning for the operational team and ensuring excellent customer service. The Role Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the Supply Chain Planner will be involved with the full customer experience from order placement to product delivery. You will work closely with the customers to understand their needs and build long lasting relationships. This will be crucial in you delivering a fast, efficient and friendly service You will also work closely with the production team to ensure they have the required resource as well as production plans that enable them to achieve optimum productivity. Other key responsibilities will include: * Being accountable for the customer demand * Data analysis and the necessary decision making to ensure on-time-delivery * Working with production and logistics to ensure despatch and delivery to the agreed service levels * Order processing, master data alignment, returns (where necessary) and any invoice discrepancies * Ensuring all maintained master data is accuarately updated on to the JDE system * Ensuring the schedules are being followed by production and ensuring all delivery metrics are met * Identifying any risks in supply and ensuring any potential conflicts are highlighted to the Supply Chain Manager * Ensuring stock accuracy targets are met through correct processing of stock movements * Co-ordination of any internal supply chain meetings, reporting on time delivery, inventory levels and schedule adherence * Ensure that the schedules are aligned to agreed sales forecasts The Candidate I am looking for a Supply Chain Planner who has experience within a manufacturing environment, and a proven track record of working within procurement or end-to-end supply chain. You will also: * Have excellent customer service experience * Have strong communication and influencing skills * Have strong problem solving with the ability to analyse data * Be result and process driven * Have knowledge and experience of MRP systems and processes desirable * Strong computing skills using Microsoft Office and Excel The Benefits In return, the successful Supply Chain Plannerwill receive a competitive salary of up to £35,000 (dependent upon experience) and a flexible benefits package including 25 Days annual leave and 6% employer pension contribution.
