SUPPLIER STA SITE ENGINEER - COVENTRY - 12 MONTHS £31.20 UMBRELLA RATE. Based at its Coventry site, we now have a new and exciting opportunity to work for a leading manufacturer and supplier of luxury goods to an ever-evolving automotive industry. Reporting into and working with a multi-talented purchasing, supplier and quality department our client is now looking for an experienced ‘New and Aftermarket’ STA site Engineer working within the supplier purchasing department of this renown manufacturer. The main responsibility of the role will be to will be to develop and support relationships with Suppliers ensuring that all planning, quality, manufacturing, delivery and timing performances are met enabling the smooth and efficient running of processes within the supply chain. The engineer will be responsible for Supplier liaison including: Measurement of supplier quality delivery performance, PPAP PSW submission achievement, MSA achievement along with Aftermarket Sourcing process concurrence achievement. The STA Engineers main duties will include: Total support to suppliers, site development, Improved quality systems, support to the procurement team, Quality planning, Warranty reduction along with various other responsibilities as deemed necessary by the Line Manager. The successful candidate must have previous experience within a similar role and ideally be educated to degree level or equivalent in an engineering discipline whilst having extensive knowledge of APQP/PPAP/PSW.
