This role will be focussed on site supplier quality inspection related activities. as part of a larger quality team that will deliver visible and measurable improvement of the production supplier base worldwide by implementing best practice automotive quality and supply chain strategies. Main duties include: * Manage production related part inspection, measurement and containment to support production needs * Produce regular reports including action plans and CCARs for management * Supplier KPI reports, PPM, 8D reports, rework costs * Implement and record NCR/ Initial 8D response * Ensure parts are handled/documented correctly for RTV process * Develop and agree supplier development activity plan with internal stakeholders ensuring the team meets the plan and PPM / Quality improvements are achieved, support other SQA team members to achieve this. * New Part Introduction, support SQA team and wider quality team with NPI parts inspection for new projects * Support SQA and production teams with on site supplier support when required * Current Production Support, interface with Resident and Site SQA team to ensure issues are prioritised and addressed in a timely manner to minimise any effect on production and quality targets * Support and ensure the internal defect process and RTV process meets SQ requirements Vocational/Academic Experience: * Automotive/Quality experience * Quality Inspection experience Technical Knowledge: * Ability to use various inspection tools and methods * Technical drawing knowledge * Understanding of Automotive manufcaturing processes Skills and personal attributes: * Automotive quality tools experience ( PPAP/APQP/8D) * Problem solving tools * Quality mind set * Team player * Good communication skills * Attention to detail/ data driven Some travel may be required to support SQA team
