Space Business Development Manager UK wide £Competitive Salary Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Space Sector Business Development Manager within Strategic Development to cover customers across the UK. Reporting to the Sector Development Manager - Space, you will have commercial acumen with demonstrable ability to understand and communicate technical subject matter. The key interface to external Space sector, you will be responsible for: 1. Identifying new business opportunities 2. Promoting our client's technical capability within the space sector 3. Understanding and translating customer requirements into the MTC technology teams 4. Developing concepts to address customer requirements 5. Ideating technology and new product concepts for the Space sector With experience within the space sector and a background of networking with relevant stakeholders you will be an ambassador for them, engaging with existing and potential customers and be an integral part of the product development roadmap for technology. A self-starter with demonstrable space engineering knowledge and experience, you will understand the challenges associated with the space environment. Commercially astute, you will be adept at understanding customer requirements and sharing new ideas that meet their needs. You will be a confident communicator and able to liaise effectively with both internal and external stakeholders, discussing complex technical information and presenting bespoke solutions. Educated to degree level or equivalent (minimum 2:1) in a scientific / engineering discipline, you have an analytical approach to problem solving and will be willing to take the initiative in this autonomous role.
