Software Project Lead As a Software Project lead for a computer vision project, your role will include task planning for a diverse range of computer vision and software tasks such as, algorithm research, prototyping, development, test and integration. You will be responsible for the development of state of the art algorithms providing unprecedented scene understanding, enabling driver assistance functions and automated driving while ensuring the development team are adhering to automotive development guidelines. Responsibilities · Develop software project plans including resource leveling and forecasting · Establish milestones, anticipate issues, and monitor adherence to project scope · Assume day-to- day responsibility for ensuring that the project is completed on time · Work with project managers to agree feature development plan · Work cloesly with management and team to allocate and prioritise tasks · Ensure detailed task planning and risk mitigation is provided per software sprint · Ensure SW development processes are followed · Maintain client relations, communication and status reporting · Reports status and progress to stakeholders weekly · Schedule peer reviews with wider team as required Qualifications - External Education and Experience · Degree qualified in related fields of electronics / computer science · Min 5 years experience preferably in automotive embedded software · Min 5 years of relevant SW project management, methodologies and software experience · Experience with Project Management tools such as MS Project and ticketing systems like JIRA · 2+ years of Deep Learning project lead experience · Good technical understanding of Deep Learning · Fluent knowledge of English · Strong leadership skills / potential · Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, enforcement assets and focus on results · Ability to manage projects across multiple timezones / cross-cultural cooperation Desirables · Understanding of computer vision algorithms and ADAS · Master of Science in Computer sciences or Software Engineering or equivalent domain preferable · Automotive SPICE experience · Good level of C/C++ programming skills · Experience with Agile Project Development
