Service Manager | Hull | Salary - £38000 - £43000. Cherry Professional are currently working with a market leading Material Handling company. They are looking for a Service Manager to join their close knit and thriving team. Responsibilities: You will be responsible for the depots service operation and will report into the depot manager Manage a team of predominantly field based engineers as well as a small office-based team Fleet spend/parts authorisation Responsible for engineer productivity and improving performance Maintaining and building Stakeholder relationships Work with customers to ensure their needs are met Stay up-to-date on the latest forklift technology Develop and implement safety procedures Manage the forklift service budget Ensuring SLA’s are adhered to Maintaining high levels of health and safety within the service department environments i.e. workshops, office and customer sites. Keeping our staff safe is important to us and you will be a key member of the leadership team Carry out service team 1-2-1 / appraisals to ensure visibility of performance and employee engagement  Ideal Candidate: Experience in mechanical engineering. Basic electrical knowledge would be beneficial. Effective planning and organisational skills. Organised and driven individual with previous management and leadership Ability to motivate and organise teams and individuals while promoting communication and performance Able to work on your own initiative. Excellent communication skills.
