The Donnelly and Taggart team in Ballymena are looking for a service advisor to join our newly renovated site. You’ll be part of an iconic brand portfolio with the following dealerships at our Ballymena site, Renault/Dacia, Honda and our Motorstore. The position will open up access to some of the world’s most famous vehicles, enabling you to continually develop your skills by training to achieve a full understanding of the latest vehicles and technologies. Reporting to the Service Manager you will be joining a growing Service Team. You will be the main point of contact between the customer and the workshop ensuring high levels of customer service. Previous experience in a similar role is necessary as this is a busy Service desk and there is a need for the successful person to hit the ground running. Experience working within the motor industry within the Service department is preferred. The Role • Welcoming customers to the Service department • Organising bookings to ensure availability of the workshop in line with the dealer guidelines • Build strong interdepartmental relationships between the service desk, workshop and show rooms, paying attention to the specific requirements of the franchises • To promote the service facilities and encourage repeat after sales • Manage customer follow ups to develop strong customer relationships The Person • At least two years Customer Service or Service desk experience • Previous experience working between departments, communicating requirements and setting timeframes • Working knowledge of computer systems including Microsoft office, excel and outlook. Comfortable learning new Computer packages • Work independently in a busy, active environment, managing own time and workflow effectively. • Present a consistently professional image to both internal and external customers, through attitude , behaviour and personal appearance • Comfortable dealing with customers and handling queries • A full drivers licence is essential as driving duties will be involved Other information • Hours of work will be Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5.30pm, including Saturday on a rota basis • 30 days holiday (20 annual, 10 stats) • Competitive base salary plus company bonus structure • Access to Health shield medical cash plan • Company Life Insurance • Company Pension Scheme Closing Date for applications - 12th March 2020
