The Role: As a Senior Electronics Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electronic systems and components, contributing to the overall product development process. Your role is pivotal in ensuring that electronic systems meet required specifications and quality standards. Responsibilities: Lead the design and development of electronics systems, including circuit design, PCB layout, and component selection. Utilise knowledge of analogue and digital electronics to create efficient and reliable systems. Mentor and guide junior engineers in the development process. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless integration of electronics systems into the overall product. Develop and implement testing procedures to ensure functionality and reliability. Conduct thorough testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of electronic components and systems. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to electronic designs. Manage and prioritise tasks to meet project deadlines. Provide regular updates to project stakeholders on the progress of electronics design activities. Ensure that electronic systems comply with industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements. Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry standards. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, electronic engineering, or a related field. Or 5-10 years of relevant experience in electronics design and development. Skills and Experience: Experience in a leadership or senior role is highly desirable. Proficient in electronic design tools such as CAD software, simulation tools, and PCB layout tools. Strong understanding of analogue and digital circuit design principles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. Qualities: Ability to establish and develop a new role within an evolving organisation.
