We are currently recruiting a Sales Engineer to work for a leading Aerospace customer in Milton Keynes. The ideal candidate will have strong communication, interpersonal, customer service, and sales skills and will have preferably worked in the Aerospace market. Role & Responsibilities: * Develop relationships with key customers; understand their business, their strategy, their needs, and upcoming opportunities; influence their processes and decision making to benefit. * Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to understand customer requirements and provide sales support. * Identify product improvements and new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors. * Prepare and deliver technical presentations that explain products or services to existing and prospective customers. * Provide product, service, technical, and engineering information by answering questions and requests for specific customer requirements. * Travel internationally at least once per month. * Generate high-quality sales leads, following up after initial contact, securing and renewing orders, negotiating prices, and completing sales. * Prepare sales engineering reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing sales information and engineering and application trends. * Implement and manage the timely delivery of key customer programs including communication strategies and issue resolution. * Document account activity, generate reports, and keep records of business transactions with customers; maintain forecasting reports. * Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within department. * Perform product engineering development and product support activities as directed. Experience/Education: * Bachelor’s in marketing, engineering, business administration or equivalent. * Experience in aerospace sales / engineering environment. * 2-5 years working in aerospace or a related industry
