Sales Controller/Transaction Manager required in Wincanton. Up to £40,000+ uncapped annual on-target-earnings plus company car and multiple staff benefits. Award-winning company that constantly strives for excellenceA not-to-miss opportunity has become available for a Sales Controller/Transaction Manager within our client’s franchise approved car dealership in Wincanton.   Reporting to the Sales Manager and working as part of a team, as a Sales Controller/Transaction Manager your key responsibilities will include: Drive the performance of the Sales Department to maximise profit, finance, and add-on sales to achieve and exceed targets. Responsible for routine 1-2-1’s with the sales team where you will identify business opportunities and training requirements, including coaching, and developing to ensure all transactions maximise sales opportunities. Ensure compliance with FCA guidelines. Complete & track monthly reporting on sales performance across the dealership. Making sure all transactions are paid in full/finance activated with correct documentation by utilising your strong attention-to-detail. Manage and maximise all incoming leads with your team and maintain regular and effective prospecting for new business. Second facing where required to assist the Sales Consultant to maximise opportunities. Understanding and consistently improving KPI levels within the Sales Department. Striving to improve finance penetration across new and used sales. Support others around the business by performing to the best of your ability. Be part of the reason our client's customers keep on coming back!Ideally you will have experience in the used vehicle sector and have a history as either Sales Manager or Transaction Manager however our client is open to considering candidates from a similar role in the Automotive Industry, or a successful Sales Executive with a proven track record looking to make that next step into management. You will need to be FCA accredited though and have a comprehensive understanding of financial legislation. Overall, you will have a desire to produce results, be a strong team leader, have a commitment to excellence, be able to build outstanding customer relationships, and have a genuine passion to work for the company and the manufacturer they represent. You will need to be brand focused, capable of working independently and have the energy and commitment to seek every sales opportunity. A UK driving license with minimal points is essential at this stage.   For your hard work as a Sales Controller/Transaction Manager our client is offering: Basic salary negotiable pending experience. Uncapped annual on-target-earning of £40,000+ per annum based on departmental sales performance. Access to a company car. 30 days paid holiday (including bank holidays).
