Regional Parts Manager - M3 & M4 Corridor - Basic Salary - £38,000 - OTE - £45,000 - Company Car Great Benefits Package -   Our client, a well-established Franchised Dealer Group, has the requirement for Regional Parts Manager to join their team.   Please note, this a regional role looking after 4 dealerships and will weekly site visits, so the ideal candidate will live in the M3/M4 corridor (Berkshire, Buckinghamshire or Hampshire)   Regional Parts Manager Responsibilities   As a Regional Parts Manager your duties will include:   Implement inventory control procedures, ensuring accurate tracking and management of parts stock from onsite colleagues. Manage and monitor stock levels to minimize overstocking and stock shortages at all dealerships. Analyse parts sales on a regular basis and adjust stock levels accordingly to maintain good parts supply to the workshop. Mentor dealership parts personnel, communicating the company vision and goals to colleagues, agreeing standards of performance required and managing performance effectively. Establish training needs and plan training to keep all parts colleagues trained to the required level. Help to co-ordinate the activities of parts colleagues, providing coaching and support where necessary. Develop and support a sales culture within the parts department. Help explain warranty procedures, credit return procedure and other manufacturer programs. Work with parts colleagues to maintain an excellent level of customer service and retention by providing timely parts availability for the workshop and retail customers. Guide onsite parts colleagues to address any customer complaints are resolved efficiently and in line with company standards. Create strong relationships with manufacturers and aftermarket suppliers to ensure a reliable and timely supply of parts to the workshop. Work with suppliers to maintain good levels of faster moving inventory. Identify opportunities to strategically develop the business. Ensure accurate stock levels are kept and replenished for impress tyre stocks. Support and advise management on departmental marketing campaigns in conjunction with manufacturers, where applicable. Ensure stock levels are controlled and do not exceed agreed limits, stock turn is maximised, and aged stock is kept within agreed limits. Plan and oversee the completion of internal parts campaigns and promotional activities to ensure their cost effectiveness. Have an up-to-date knowledge of consumer law and trade practices. Ensure all processes and systems operate fully and effectively. Ensure all Company Health & Safety procedures are strictly adhered to within the parts dept. Keep Negative and Nonstock parts to a minimum. Ensure the return of any surchargable parts. Keep Tyre and Oil stock levels are kept under control. Returns are kept under 90 days. Non genuine parts are controlled.   Experience, Skills & Qualifications   Essential Requirements:   2 years current and stable Parts Manager experience in a Large Scale Franchised Dealership Parts Department looking to take the next step in their career Franchised Dealership Experience Full UK Driving Licence   Remuneration & Benefits   Basic Salary of £38,000 On Target Earnings of £45,000 Company Car Great Benefits Package
