Recruitment Manager – Automotive Location: Home based / London / South Wales The Recruitment Manager role will lead all the Talent acquisition activity in the business across Europe and the UK. The role will develop and deliver the recruitment strategy to ensure quality and cost-effective recruitment solutions while growing operations in both Manufacturing plants. The role will include operational activity including managing PSL relationships, initiating direct sourcing, managing budgets and planning all recruitment interventions to meet business needs. Features: •             Leadership of External Skills group to support effective spend on recruitment •             Build relationship with all customers, all business areas and business area leaders and 3rd Party suppliers •             Manage and lead the recruitment activities, ensuring that business needs and KPIs are achieved (headcount provision, deadlines, eNPS) •             Commercial understanding of business requirements specifically – automotive across all business functions •             Be able to manage an evolving and growing business across multiple locations and countries  Accountabilities of the job: •             Working closely with the Director of HR, Heads of Departments, Director of Manufacturing, CEO and members of the Senior Management team, you will lead the implementation of recruitment strategies and the development of the employer brand. •             Develop a culture of data rigor, and build the foundations to enable data-informed recruitment and actionable insights. •             Define, design and implement recruiting programs and search engagements for a variety of roles. This includes understanding and mapping the talent landscape, internal calibration and referrals, and matching those data points with the external talent supply. •             Provide mentorship, guidance and career development to members of the recruiting team. •             Establish and maintain meaningful relationships with management and key cross-functional stakeholders internally (e.g. Manufacturing, Finance, Commercial, Engineering, etc.). •             Establishing and developing the best practices, resources and processes that enable high quality hiring and maintains an exceptionally high talent bar. •             Become a contributing member of the HR and Recruitment Team that effectively embodies and promotes the culture and values of the business, and lead the team to do the same. •             Develop and iterate a global, standardised and evidence-based evaluation and selection framework for making good hiring decisions. •             Source, deploy and manage all systems and tools relating to recruitment that help the team recruit more effectively and support the team's efficiency. •             Build, measure and iterate on all recruiting processes in all locations, preparing us for scale. •             Develop a talent pool framework that helps the business map out its workforce requirements and work backwards to an efficient, effective recruitment strategy. •             Lead the setup of the Apprenticeship and Graduate programs. •             Support the development of job evaluation and developing pay and grading arrangements. Suitable profile •             University Degree educated •             At least 5 years of experience in a recruitment leadership role that have undergone significant growth in a short space of time (i.e. going from 200 to 1000 or 2000 within a couple of years). Manufacturing recruitment experience is desirable. •             Proven experience managing recruiters and building high-performing teams •             Proven command of data with strong analytical and modelling skills. Exceptional ability to join quantitative and qualitative approaches to frame and synthesise complex business problems into clear, concise and easy-to-understand goals. •             Strong interpersonal communication skills and experience working with matrixed teams •             Experience using talent market insights and data to influence decisions within the leadership groups and cross-functional teams •             Good all-round knowledge of the Apprenticeship market •             Proven ability to design and communicate clear processes, and a detail-oriented yet flexible approach to problem solving. •             Strong written and oral communication skills, with an eye for detail and a passion for presenting data and information in clear, compelling ways. •             Aptitude for leveraging and learning new technologies with experience with various modern recruitment technologies. •             A deeply curious and avid learner, constantly looking for ways to improve and creatively solve problems - both the big strategic things, as well as the smaller quick wins. •             Strong project and programme management skills, with experience having rolled out new processes and programmes globally. •             Fluent in English plus at least one other European language
