Quality Engineer (HVAC) Pembrook Resourcing are currently looking for a Quality Engineer on behalf of one of our clients. Quality Engineer Responsibilities * Understanding manufacturers guidance and comparing that with what has been installed on site. (HVAC knowledge preferable) * Ensure all projects are executed to the highest possible standards and strictly in accordance with all the regulatory requirements, design drawings, specifications, technical submittals, manufacturer’s recommendations, and all other relevant project specific documentation. * Interact with cross disciplinary and cross functional teams to establish and implement standard operation procedures, processes, and technical requirements. * Conduct regular witnessing of testing on sites. * Conduct periodic installation inspections and issue associated audit documentation in accordance with company procedures. * Keep records of quality reports, statistical reviews, and relevant documentation. * Prepares quality documentation and reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising information and trends. * Accomplishes quality assurance objectives by monitoring, reviewing, and enforcing policies and procedures. * Develop and implement quality control procedures and guidelines to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction. * Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with quality standards. * Analyse data and trends to identify root causes of quality issues and develop effective corrective actions. * Provide training and support to employees on quality control procedures and best practices. * Participate in the development and review of product specifications and requirements. * Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure adherence to quality standards. * Functional teams. The individual * Ideally a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field or progressed from mechanical engineering background. * Proven experience in quality assurance/quality control, preferably in the construction industry. * Knowledge of quality control principles, methodologies, and tools. * Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes of issues and implement effective solutions. * Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
