Key Responsibilities: Receive, react and help solve all customer Quality Assurance issues, using problem-solving tools such as 8D or 5 Why. As a Quality Engineer you will assist the Quality Manager with any departmental activities. Assist inspectors with measuring products when required. Using verniers, Micrometres, shadowgraphs, CMM etc. The Quality Technician will assist with the maintenance of the calibration system, ensuring all equipment is correctly calibrated at all times. Conduct internal audits when required. Gain a clear knowledge of the APQP process and assist the Quality Manager where necessary. Produce Automotive documentation including PPAPs and all elements within, process flow, PFMEA, Control plan, ISIR, SC/CC Process capability studies etc. Produce Aerospace documentation including FAIR's. Help produce any in-production supporting documentation, operator instruction packs, care points, etc. Run/support any MSA & amp; SPC activities.Person Specification: At least 2 years' experience as a QA Engineer in either automotive or aerospace. Experience in using basic measuring equipment ie vernier, micrometer, and height gauge. Experience of reading engineering drawings including GD&T references.
