Job Summary Working within the R&D team as a parts research administrator, you will assist with identifying and researching new parts for ex-warranty products within a busy office environment. Job Description * Analyse pricing offers form global suppliers and negotiate more effective pricing structures for factor parts. * Discuss pricing offers with management to agree a future purchase plan for parts. * Maintain an information flow with internal and external agencies. * Procuring part product samples to scrutinise the quality of potential supply. * Maintain a dialogue with the company QC department to optimise the parts product range. * Assist with information collation of current and future products, in order that new and revised company publications and catalogues can be produced in a timely manner. * Creation of purchase orders for departmental projects. Skills and Knowledge Required * Can multitask and prioritise effectively with a keen eye for detail. * Effective written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to interpret data for effective pricing negotiations. * Ability to utilise a variety of software tools (including Microsoft Office applications). * A basic understanding of technical drawings and a passion for engines Benefits * Our client is paying a salary up to £28,500.. * Free parking * 28 Days Holiday including bank holidays. * Workplace Pension
