Exterior Lighting & Visibility Project Engineer – Automotive, Bedfordshire, £50,000 - £60,000 + benefits / on going Ltd Co contract outside IR35 Unknown Recruitment is seeking an Exterior Lighting Project Engineer for our leading Automotive R&D client who are experts in Lighting and Exterior Systems Design for the automotive industry. This position will be part of a team of Engineers responsible for developing best-in-class lighting systems. Location: For the appointed coordinator, the primary locations will be Cranfield Office and London Office Exterior Lighting & Visibility Project Engineer – Automotive Responsibilities: * Support and coordination of development of exterior lighting and visibility parts, including headlamps, rear lamps, small lamps and light emitting devices, mirrors, and light leveling systems. * Budget calculation and allocation for the above-mentioned parts. * Traveling to other facilities for build support, styling design reviews, and to meet with suppliers for part inspections and technical meetings. * Active participation in design reviews, sharing knowledge and experience. * The primary place of work will be in Cranfield, with the flexibility to work from home in line with the rest of the business. Exterior Lighting & Visibility Project Engineer – Automotive Requirements: * Support the development of exterior lighting and visibility parts to meet design specifications and styling intentions. * Ensuring parts are released on time and within budget. * Managing supplier test plans and quality management to achieve design standards. * Providing clear and concise reporting of concerns and issues related to part development and delivery
