Holt Executive are actively supporting a global leader within the Aviation Technology space with a Project Manager - Aircraft Modification requirement. Working closely with the Head of Programme Delivery the Programme Manager - Aviation Connectivity will be responsible for leading projects to deliver aviation connectivity products and services based on their customers' requirements. This role will be working closely with airline clients, partner and supplier organisations and internal teams/ The Programme Manager, Aviation Connectivity will ensure a structured and disciplined delivery according to industry-standard project and programme methods and protocols. Key responsibilities for the Programme Manager - Aircraft Modification position: Customer focal point for project implementation, delivery, and acceptance. Managing aircraft modification and embodiment projects liaising with airline engineering departments, MROs and Part 21 Design and Production Organisations. Managing system integration and service delivery projects liaising with aircraft OEMs, tier 1 suppliers, IFE providers and ISPs. Leading and coordinating internal project teams within a matrix managed environment. Definition and scoping of projects ensuring alignment of objectives and benefits with key stakeholders and effective project initiation. Development and management of project plans.Essential Knowledge and Skills required for the Prgramme Manager- Aviation Connectivity position: Excellent project management skills with the ability to run multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent planning, forecasting and reporting skills. Risk identification, control and mitigation planning. Issue management, problem solving and critical thinking. Ability to take the initiative to identify business or customer needs and drive the delivery of appropriate solutions. Programme / Project Management qualification(s). Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Project, PowerPoint and Excel. Resilience, adaptability and tenacity. Available and willing to travel worldwide (COVID-19 situation dependent).Desirable Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of the commercial aviation regulatory environment including EASA or FAA STC processes. Experience working with IFC, IFE or other avionics OEMs. Good understanding of IP / broadband networks and internet technologies. Knowledge of satellite & cellular industry. Experience in using JIRA & Confluence
